embarrassment

after months of pumping in many random places fearing that someone may walk in on me, the inevitable happened. friday night i was pumping at 10:30pm in my room at camp war eagle and i heard the door open. assuming it was james, i turned around with a big smile on my face to greet the visitor. only it wasn't james, it was runks, the youth minister c.u.m.c. flew in for the weekend. his room was right next door and apparently he mixed up our numbers. "ahhhoh eek wrong-ahh gawley sorry!" he spatted as he quickly exited. i cracked up for a solid 3 minutes after he left. what else can you do?

he did apologize to me in the chow hall the next day which might have been even more awkward. the only reason (i think) that he recognized me was because i was carrying around parker. "are you in room 4?" "yes." "oh good i have been looking for you all day, i'm so sorry...blah blah blah." thanks i guess.

i'm not sure if was more embarrasing to be walked in on by a christian preacher or by room service on our honeymoon. hopefully this annual trend will end soon.

love yall!

ugh, sadly, i think i can one-up you on this.

imagine pumping in the employee bathroom at work (because that's the only place you CAN pump), and forgetting to lock the door.

and then imagine your male boss opening the door.

ugh.

someone walked in on your honeymoon? oh no! both would be pretty embarassing, but i think i would pick that one.

That's one of the fears I have when I go back to work, too! Luckily, there are four of us that are having babies within months of each other, so they are converting one of the office rooms to a nursing room! Hooray for privacy while pumping!

ha! thats great. i have yet to be walked in on, but i know its bound to happen!

and to answer your question, the episiotmy didnt really hurt. to tell you the truth after so many hours of labour, even without the pain relief, i couldnt really feel it. just wanted the baby out. the stiches afterwards were pretty painful though...

Yesterday I cut up a pineapple to keep in the fridge. It made me think of you. :)

That is SO funny! Pumping is SO awkward! I would have been mortified!
It was so nice to meet you and Parker at Chili's today! It was bound to happen sooner or later that we would run into one another - I'm sure we know a lot of the same people too! Parker is precious! So chunky and cute! I have a feeling Harper thought he was cute even though she was just wrapped up in her sippy cup! ha!
Thanks SO MUCH for coming by to say hi to me!!!!
